Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Devsira collects when you use https://devsira.com, why we collect it, who else can see it, and what you can ask us to do about it. It is written to be read rather than skimmed past.

The short version: we collect what you type into our contact form so we can reply to you, and anonymous usage statistics only if you agree to them. We do not sell anything about you to anyone.

What we collect

Information you give us

When you submit the contact or quote form, we receive whatever you enter: your name, email address, and optionally your company, phone number, the service you are interested in, your budget range, and your description of the project. That message is emailed to us and stored in our mailbox, in the same way any email you sent us directly would be.

Information collected automatically

Our web server keeps standard access logs — IP address, the page requested, the time, your browser type. These are a normal part of running a server and are used for security and diagnosing faults, not for profiling visitors.

Analytics, only with your consent

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages people find useful. Analytics storage is set to denied by default and only turns on if you consent. If you decline, or never respond, no analytics cookies are set and no analytics data about your visit is collected.

Why we use it

To reply to your enquiry and, if we end up working together, to deliver the work and stay in touch about it. To keep the site running and secure. To understand in aggregate which parts of the site are worth improving — but only where you have agreed to analytics.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making, and we do not build advertising profiles.

Who else sees it

We use a small number of service providers to run the site. They process data on our instructions and for no purpose of their own:

• Hetzner — hosts the server the website runs on (Germany).
• Hostinger — provides our email, so contact form messages are delivered and stored there.
• Sanity — stores the site’s own content (our words and images, not yours).
• Google Analytics — usage statistics, only where you have consented.
• Calendly — if you choose to book a call, your booking details are handled by Calendly under their own privacy policy.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. We may disclose information where the law requires it.

Where it is stored

Our server is located in Germany. Our email and analytics providers may process data in other countries, including the United States. Where information moves between countries, we rely on the safeguards those providers put in place.

How long we keep it

Enquiries stay in our mailbox for as long as they are useful — typically while a conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you come back to us. Server logs are kept briefly, for security. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time and we will.

Your choices

You can ask us to:

• tell you what information we hold about you,
• correct it if it is wrong,
• delete it,
• stop using it for a particular purpose.

Email contact@devsira.com and we will deal with it. You do not need to give a reason, and there is no charge. You can also withdraw analytics consent at any time by clearing this site’s cookies in your browser.

Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, access to our server is restricted to key-based authentication, and credentials are not stored in our source code. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously and keep the software up to date.

Children

This site is aimed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be obvious rather than buried.
